FORMATION AND EVALUATION OF RTOWA.
R.T.O.W.A.(Regd.)
is exclusively devoted to the cause of Retired Telecom Officers (DOT, BSNL & MTNL) those who ever worked in MTNL/Delhi
Telephones. It was formed on 10.11.2006
with the efforts of a group of dedicated officers with a flair for social work, under the guidance of Sh. M.K. Bagchi, Ex.
GS, JTOA and Convenor TEAM and has over a year grown up into a very vibrant and
active welfare organization with more than 300 members. The aim of R.T.O.W.A
is to improve the quality of life and welfare of retired officers. The
association was registered under Societies Act by Registrar of Societies of NCT of Delhi vide REGN. NO. S/57799/2007 on February,
2007.
MANAGEMENT AND GENERAL BODY MEETINGS
The Management of R.T.O.W.A. is vested in the broad-based Executive Committee comprising experienced leaders from various
Associations. Day-to-day decisions
are taken by Executive Committee. The
General Body meetings are being held periodically. About 12 General Body meetings and four Executive Committee Meetings have been held till now. The response shown by the members was spontaneous
and tremendous. A platform to effectively represent the Retired and Pensioners
Officers is now on full swing. Diwali
was celebrated in the TEC Hall with Massive strength of our members in 2007. Annual General Body Meeting was organized on
5.11.2008 in CTO Auditorium. More than 400 members and other dignitaries including
Sh. S.P. Pachauri, Director, HRD, Smt. Anita Soni, Director Finance, Sh. S.M.
Talwar, ED, MTNL, Sh. Anupam Anand, GM(HR) Corporate Office, Sh. D.N. Mishra, DGM(IR) graced the occasion. Their blessings and assurances gave new inspiration to the
retired officers.

OPENING OF ACCOUNT
As decided in General Body meeting on
7.11.2007, Saving a/c of the Association was opened at SBI, Meera Bagh Branch as per constitution. Over one lakh rupees are
put in Fixed Deposit.
